October 2021-Salem Co-operative Bank’s Donna Elotmani, SVP Residential Lending, sent around an email giving employees the opportunity to sign up for items that they would like to donate to fill five Thanksgiving Baskets for the Boys and Girls Club of Greater Salem. In no time at all the sign-up sheet was full, so she duplicated the request. Again, the sign-up sheet filled right up.
Thanks to Donna’s efforts to organize this opportunity for giving, Salem Co-operative Bank filled 10 Thanksgiving Baskets for the Club. Each basket contains all the fixings for a full Thanksgiving meal and a gift card to purchase the turkey or other items. This is Donna’s 3rd year participating in the Thanksgiving Basket Drive. Baskets will be distributed by the Boys and Girls Club of Greater Salem to families in need. This is a great start to the season of giving and Salem Co-op’s employees jumped at the opportunity to help.
