Tina Brown, IRA Portfolio Manager, spent some time at St. Joseph’s School’s Summer Program chatting with the kids about banking. Tina asked them some questions to see how much they knew about money. She also talked to them about things like; what is a mortgage, what is interest and the importance of saving. Teaching them the importance of saving for college, a vacation or something special.
Each of the children in the program got a Salem Co-operative Bank tote bag filled with some great gifts. Kids are our future. It is so important to invest time in them. Thank you Tina for making an investment in our future.
