During the month of October, Salem Co-operative Bank employees participated in the NH Banker’s Association (NHBA) initiative #NHBanksGiveBack. This annual event helps to celebrate and promote the impact that banks have on their communities.
One of the ways that Salem Co-op participated was by holding an employee collection drive, employees were asked to bring in old blankets and towels for Salem Animal Rescue League (SARL). We collected seven garbage bags and two bins full of items for the animals at SARL. Kim Hackett, Keri Hankus and Sue McKiniry delivered the items collected to SARL and got to spend a few minutes visiting the kitties.
This team effort was such a great opportunity for employees to give back to our community and make a difference for the animals at SARL who are awaiting a new home.
