March was an exciting month at Salem Co-op with our first email campaign of 2022 and a 100th Anniversary Chocolate Bar and Golden Ticket giveaway. Congratulations to our Golden Ticket winner, Kayla Harris from our Methuen office. We are still waiting for a winner to step forward from our Salem office. If you haven’t opened your chocolate bar, you could be the Golden Ticket winner! Our employees participated in a collection of first aid supplies for Ukraine and we held an employee Friday Fun Day which included a contest for the best green dessert. That was a sweet day!
We have received a lot of great feedback from our email campaign including requests to keep you in the loop about things that we will be doing this year to celebrate our 100th Anniversary. We have also received some great stories to add to our Customer Memory book. If you have a story that you would like to share, please send it to 100yearsyoung@salemcoop.com.
In April we will be hosting a kid’s coloring contest from April 1st-16th. A total of eight prizes will be awarded. Bring the kids by to grab a coloring page. Visit our branches on April 7th to share a piece of our 100th Anniversary cake and balloons for the kids. Employees will celebrate Red Sox Opening Day on April 14th and on April 15th we will be handing out Easter Eggs to customers filled with some great surprises.
April is Child Abuse Prevention Month and Salem Co-op supports the work of The Exchange Club by displaying blue pinwheels on the lawn. The bank will be making a donation to support this cause.
Soon we will be launching social media pages on Facebook and Instagram. Keep a lookout for the exciting announcement and contest coming soon.
Thank you all for following us on our journey of celebrating 100 Years Young.
