Festival of Trees Posted in Community Outreach | December, 2021 print friendly version

November 2021-Ann Lally, President and CEO of Salem Co-operative Bank has donated a tree to The Festival of Trees for the past fourteen years. This year’s tree is named Gold Luck. Gold Luck is a 7-foot tree that is elegantly decorated with white lights, gold ornaments, gold ribbon and gold beads. At the base of the tree lays a gold and green tree skirt. Atop the tree sits a gold star adorned with $50 in holiday scratch tickets.

Proceeds from The Festival of Trees provides funding to help preserve historical buildings throughout northern Massachusetts and southern New Hampshire. Properties such as Presentation of Mary, The Searles Building, Sandown Meeting House, Winnikenni Castle and many churches throughout the area have benefited from money raised during the Festival.

Ann is a proud supporter of protecting the history that makes the Merrimack Valley special. After all, our history at Salem Co-operative Bank is deeply rooted in the very same community.
