Back-to-School Backpack Program Posted in Community Outreach | August, 2021 print friendly version

July 2021-Employees at Salem Co-operative Bank, in conjunction with Granite State Board of Realtors, participated in the annual Salvation Army Backpack Drive.  The drive is held each summer prior to the start of the new school year.  “Backpack tags”, which include a student’s first name, their grade, preferred backpack color and a list of items needed are provided by the Salvation Army.  Kim Kelley, Keri Hankus Donna Elotmani, and Raquel Tayag, of Salem Co-operative Bank along with their team members, Linda Davis (not pictured) and Lisa Anderson (not pictured) in the Mortgage Department purchased the backpacks and necessary items to fill them.  The Salvation Army will distribute the backpacks to children in need within the Derry/Londonderry area.  Kim Kelley says that she has been participating in this program for about 15 years now.  Thank you for making a positive impact in our community.
