Salem Co-operative Bank was proud to be a Diamond Sponsor for the Ingram Senior Center’s 20th Anniversary Celebration with a $1,000 donation.
When the Senior Center was first constructed, the bank generously donated $30,000. This money helped to fund a folding wall, staging and chairs for the Center.
The mission of the Senior Center is to assist senior citizens in the town of Salem to maintain self-sufficiency in their homes, increase their opportunity to interact with the community and provide them with a place to go that fosters mental, physical, and social well-being in a healthy environment. They currently serve 2,400 residents.
It is so important for our seniors to have a place to go and to stay active. We are so happy to sponsor this event in celebration of such a wonderful cause.
