$20,000 Donated to Lazarus House Posted in Community Outreach | February, 2024 print friendly version

Salem Co-operative Bank’s Charitable foundation, Salem Community Benefit donated $20,000 to Lazarus House soup kitchen and food pantry in Lawrence, to help sustain the programs and provide the needed resources to continue to assist people in need.

Lazarus House provides people facing poverty, homelessness and food insecurity services, guidance and support.  Their Good Shepard Soup Kitchen provides freshly prepared hot meals for more than 300 people a day at breakfast and lunch sittings, and the St. Martha’s Food Pantry supplies emergency groceries to over 1200 families each week.
