100th Anniversary Update Posted in News | September, 2022 print friendly version

As we transition into fall and head into the final few months of our year-long 100th Year Celebration, we are excited to announce that we are in a great position to reach our goal of 100 Ways to Celebrate 100 Years Young.  If you have been following us on our journey, you know that we have had a busy year.  We entered September at #61 on our goal chart and we anticipate ending the month at #73.

Community-At the beginning of the year, we created teams internally and set a goal for each team to reach 100 hours of volunteer time.  Many of our teams have exceeded that goal and the others are on point to reach that goal by year-end.  In addition to our big Charitable Giving Campaign, we have held several drives to collect items for local organizations.  This initiative has made us all aware of opportunities where we can help out in the community, and it has been so rewarding.

Customers-Each month we have had a customer giveaway, we have given out prizes to social media followers, held enter to win drawings and we held a kid’s coloring contest.  It has been so exciting to draw winners and call them with the good news.  After all, who doesn’t love to win something!  Let us not forget our Customer Appreciation Event.  We had so much fun giving out prizes at our prize wheel and dice game.  The food was great, and it was so nice to have time to mingle with all of you.

Employees-Throughout the year our employees have enjoyed food competitions, team building activities, theme days, employee celebrations and random giveaways.  Each week we recognize an Employee of the Week, share a positive quote on Positivity Tuesday and have a Throwback Thursday Trivia question.  Once a month we have been treated with an employee luncheon and we hold an employee contest.  You never know what we will be doing on any given day that you visit one of our branches.  We hope that you got the opportunity to visit us during Spirit Week.

There is a lot more to come before the year ends so stay tuned.  If you have not already done so, please follow us on Facebook and Instagram.  It is on social media that you will find pictures of all the things mentioned above.  Our crazy hat day post received more than 1200 views!

Thank you so much for your business and for being a part of our celebration.
