Sarah Rastello, SVP Retail at Salem Co-operative Bank is the recipient of the Valley 98.9 2021 Unsung Hero Award.
Sarah is passionate about helping children and their families. She has served on the Foster Kids of The Merrimack Valley for almost 10 years. She credits her mother as her inspiration stating, “She was a foster parent to over 125 foster children over a 25-year period along with raising her own nine children and taking care of a disabled husband.”
Sarah serves on numerous boards and is co-captain of The American Cancer Society’s Relay for Life events in both Methuen, MA and Salem, NH.
Valley 98.9 says, “Sarah, your mother might be your inspiration, but you are truly ours!”
Salem Co-operative Bank’s President, Ann Lally says, “Sarah you are an inspiration to all!” and “So proud of her dedication and commitment to others!”
